Lucrecia had her arms woven together tightly against her chest, her eyes processing the sights she saw in both awe and confusion. She made her way through rubble, chunks of cement and other debris. This was all so new to her, having come out of the crystals just in time for disaster to strike, she only covered so much land on foot. This town one of the many she has yet to see. With a small sigh, she stopped in mid step and leaned against the nearest intact wall. No matter where she went either all of it or the majority of it was in ruins. Her arms loosened around her chest as her body began to slide down the wall and she was sitting on the ground. Perhaps she should have stayed in that cave, let the destruction take just one more life along with it. With a bitter smile, she shook her head, bringing her knees to her chest as she imagined herself disappearing within herself. That would have been preferable right about now.
"What in the world is going on..." She muttered, her arms only parting from one another for a few moments as she wrapped them around her knees, resting her forehead on her knees. She supposed this was some kind of karma, after all shes done to hurt the ones she cared about, she only saw it fitting that some divine power would have her live out the rest of this life. This life that would probably be prolonged as physically possible and maybe even longer, the Jenova cells still flowed in her veins. The class A bio-tech was at a loss.

The sounds ok clashing metal rang around as Vincent Valentine made his way through Twilight Town. How he ended up here, he did not recall of. Now was a reason as to why he was brought here. As he knows of everything happens for a reason. The clink and clatter of his shoes continued as he walked through the seemingly dead waste land.
"My god...." He whispered to himself in near disgust. "What happened....?" He thought out loud. He then heard the sounds of another soul. Was there still life here? Maybe they needed help. He quickly ran over to where he heard the noises. Holding on to Cerberus in case it was someone who did not need such help. When turned the corner, he found a woman. A woman he did not expect. She seemed oddly familiar. 'W-what....?"
His crimson eyes widened. From all the calm and the death-like backgrounds that surrounded them, she was like a light. She lit up the Darkness. That very same light, seemed oddly familiar.
"Lucrecia....." He remembered in a near gasp-like expression.

Had it not been enough that the mere mental images of the ones she loved flashed in her mind and faded just as she went to reach for them? Now she was hearing his voice. She curled more into herself, forcing her eyes shut even tighter. The one voice that seemed to rip her heart into shreds everytime she heard it began echoing in her head her name. Every time her heart being torn into thinner and thinner ribbons until there was nothing to rip, but the cold claws that tore it apart began to slash at the empty space, causing a cold feeling to run over her body. Bringing her hands to her ears, her body was shook by the first sign of a sob. She shook her head and clenched her teeth together. "Im so sorry... Im so sorry" She muttered in her knees, feeling the hot sting that was the tears that constantly fell everytime mention or thought of his name was brought to her attention.
Pressing her hands to her ears even harder, she slowly began to lift herself from the ground, every so often sliding on some random rubble. As she stood fully, she supported her body heavily against the wall before she slowly and reluctantly opened her eyes, the tears being held back slowly coming out freely. At first her blurred gaze was on the ground, her hands giving up on the sound of his voice that echoed through her head and her arms came to rest on her sides. She then got the feeling of being watched, tearing her gaze from the ground to look at the source of this feeling. Her mind shut down, his voice suddenly stopped whispering her name. The tears did not stop though. "Vincent..." She whispered. She felt her knees give out and she was sent back to the floor though her eyes never leaving his. "Vincent... Thats you right? I'm not.... I'm not going crazy am I?" She muttered.

Vincent felt broken as he looked to the once proud doctor was now on her knees drowning in her own tears. Vincent was in a stunned place. He thusly remembered Her smile. Her proud, happy smile. What happened? Vincent forced his stunned feet to move and knelt down next to Lucrecia. "Yes....Yes it is me, Lucrecia." Vincent whispered to her as he slowly put his right arm on her shoulder. "Please....don't be sorry." He pleaded with her calmly. He hated to see this woman he knew so well have a sad side. It was a horrible thing to see, even for Vincent Valentine's eyes.
He looked into her eyes and gave her something not just anyone would get. A small smile. Unsure what to say, he only hoped she would feel a bit better. If he recalled right, she loved it when he smiled.

Her eyes never leaving Vincent, she reached her hands up and began to wipe at her eyes. The moment his hand coming around her shoulders, her head hung in shame. She leaned on him, resting her head on his shoulder. His smile brought the shreds together in her chest, for a moment, her mind allowing her a moment of forgiveness. She gripped at the red cloth that was Vincent's clothes, her eyes looked up at him. "I need to be sorry. Vincent, after all I've done..." She muttered. Her mind started to kick up again, her thoughts going to Hojo, going to Sephiroth. Did they survive the destruction of the worlds? Lucrecia, cast her gaze to the ground. "Are you alright?" She asked suddenly, looking back up to him and gazing into his red eyes. Her hands reaching up and placing them softly on either side of his face, doing her best to go passed the red clothing that was in the way of his part of his face.
She found it ironic as she was the one a reck and she was asking Vincent of all people how he was doing. From the looks of it, nothing serious has seemed to happen to him, but after all the time she was in the crystal, she had only guessed and wondered on the thought.

Vincent held her close she Lucrecia rested him. He closed his eyes as he rubbed her where he held her. She needed comfort. She was in pain. Vincent was unsure how to fix it. He was not even sure if he could do anything at all. All he felt like he could do was hold her close. Lucrecia blames herself for many things. All the problems that a happened to him, the sorrow followed her, with whatever good intentions she had. She looked to have lost all hope.
Looking to her as she asked the question, he sighed. "I am well, Lucrecia." He cooed back to her calmly. He stroked her smooth brown hair and gave a thoughtful sigh. Unsure what to say, he continued to do his best to comfort her. They only way he knew.

Lucrecia smiled faintly to his response. She was happy he was doing ok. She way glad that nothing was wrong with him. Though all her thoughts always turned and rounded back to one response of her own in her mind. Had it not been for you, he would be more then well Lucrecia. Look at him, you only worry and cause him pain further. That voice echoed in her mind and her smile faded, her hands slipping away from his face and she hung her head in shame, her shoulders slumping as she leaned more against Vincent. She only found it fitting to be feeling this way after what she did to Vincent, to Vincent's father, and what she did to Sephiroth. Had it not been for her weak mind, she would have never done those things, but she did and there was no reversing it. She then shook her head slightly, she had to push back these thoughts, push back the voice that always shoved the truth in her face when she didnt want it. Just for now, She didnt want Vincent to worry about her. She didnt deserve his concern.
Lifting her head, and straightening out her shoulders, she gazed up at Vincent with another faint smile, wiping away any remaining tears she had in her eyes. "I'm sorry you had to see me like this. After all this time. I wasn't expecting you to be here... I wasnt expecting to see you at all actually. Everythings changed and I dont know where anything is."
